Notch Point - Ilbilbie

Notch and Yarrawonga Points are two prominent 20 to 30 m high headlands that protrude about 5 km to the east. They are accessible via a 12 km long gravel then 4WD track off the Green Hill Road. There are approximately fifty shacks around Yarrawonga Point, while Notch Point is backed by private land.

The Notch Point beach (1186) is 1.8 km long, faces due east and is bordered by low, cleared headlands, together with a creek running out against the southern headland. The beach consists of a moderately steep high tide beach fronted by a low tide bar that widens to 100 m at low tide. It is backed by low foredunes extending up to 300 m west of the beach, which in turn are backed by a now drained lake and the tidal creek. There is a private track to a dwelling on the northern headland.
